LCI is proud to share that three of our team members have been appointed to topic-specific Expert Reference Panels within the Green Star Advisory Committee of the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA), contributing specialist guidance to support the ongoing evolution of the Green Star program and broader sustainability outcomes for the built environment.
- Matt Williams (Principal & ESD Lead) has been named Chair of the Responsible Products Expert Reference Panel, leading industry-wide discussions on product selection frameworks and environmentally responsible supply chains.
- Warren Li (Senior Associate) has been appointed to the Building Performance Expert Reference Panel, where his technical expertise in building optimisation will help guide performance standards across the sector.
- Deepali Ghadge (Senior ESD Engineer) has joined the Circular Strategies Expert Reference Panel, contributing her knowledge in material efficiency and lifecycle thinking to advance circular economy outcomes.
Matt spoke about what these appointments mean for the team:
“It’s an honour to be appointed Chair of the Responsible Products Panel and to contribute to shaping the future of sustainable procurement in Australia. I’m equally proud to see Warren and Deepali join expert panels in their own right, and their appointments reflect the depth of capability and passion within our ESD team at LCI. Together, we’re committed to helping drive meaningful, industry-wide change through the Green Star program.”
Participation in these panels enables LCI to directly contribute to the evolution of one of Australia’s most significant sustainability rating tools, helping ensure Green Star continues to reflect best practice design, materials, and performance.
Congratulations to Matt, Warren, and Deepali on these well-deserved appointments.
