Challenge:
The BUPA Aged Care Facility set amongst reserves and parkland caters for residential and specialised dementia care. The home comprises landscaped gardens, commercial kitchen & laundry, cafe, saloon, sports bar, parlour, private dining and cosy lounges.
Solution:
This facility’s building services were designed by LCI with the users firmly in mind. The residents needed easy-to-use controls and the facility managers needed sophisticated systems to monitor the building, improve comfort and reduce energy consumption.
Outcome:
As a facility close to residences, careful attention was paid to minimising light spillage and noise impacts. This was achieved through an intelligent lighting system luminaire placement and equipment selection.
