Ross has over 17 years of experience as a specialist consultant in the field of fire safety engineering with extensive knowledge in healthcare, residential, commercial and industrial projects. He’s also been leading fire safety audits of complex facilities, fire safety engineering analysis, and provision of fire safety management, maintenance and regulatory advice. Ross’s skills and capability allow him to undertake large projects and drive innovative yet cost-effective fire engineering solutions.

Ross also understands various fire risk assessment techniques, evacuation modelling, and fire consequence modelling. This includes the use of finite element modelling, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and evacuation simulation software packages, such as Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS), Pathfinder, CFAST, TASEF, FIRECALC, and the Fire Brigade Intervention Model (FBIM).
