ARRCS Kaltukatjara Residential Aged Care

The Tjilpi Pampaku Ngura Flexible Aged Care Facility redevelopment in Kaltukatjara (Docker River) provides purpose-built aged care infrastructure for one of the Northern Territory’s most remote communities.

The project involved the redevelopment of the existing residential aged care facility, including partial demolition of the existing building, conversion of two houses into staff accommodation, retention of the existing common room, construction of new supported accommodation, and associated site works, landscaping and car parking.

Designed to respond to the unique requirements of its remote setting and community, the facility supports the delivery of culturally appropriate residential, palliative and community care, helping local Elders remain on Country and connected to family, culture and community.

LCI provided Mechanical, Electrical, Security, Communications, Hydraulic, Fire Protection, Fire Engineering, Acoustics and Structural Engineering services throughout the project.
