Canberra Lyric Theatre

The new 2,000-seat lyric theatre will be a significant addition to the Canberra Theatre Centre precinct, featuring a large stage fit for hosting major productions, a modern orchestra pit and a focus on accessibility.

LCI is delivering multi-disciplinary building services engineering, supporting an all-electric design shaped by principles of Connection to Country in partnership with First Nations communities and an overall commitment to inclusion. Our team is delivering Mechanical, Electrical, Communications, Security, Audio Visual, and Vertical Transport design services.

Due for completion in 2028, the project will strengthen Canberra’s Civic and Cultural District and support performing arts in the capital.
