Multiple Sclerosis Wellbeing Centre

The Multiple Sclerosis Wellbeing Centre in Lidcombe is a world-class facility designed to support individuals living with MS and related neurological conditions. Purpose-built with the end user in mind, the centre provides specialist therapies and education within a welcoming, non-institutional environment tailored to meet the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs of clients and their families.

LCI Consultants delivered a full suite of building engineering services, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire protection, security, and specialist lighting, as well as environmentally sustainable design services. Our specialist lighting team played a key role in enhancing the therapeutic experience through:

• Double wall washing in corridors to create a sense of safety and warmth.
• Uplighting in the main lobby to accentuate the natural timber ceiling and evoke a calm ambience.
• Thoughtful exterior lighting to support accessibility and safety.

The facility also includes a specialist gymnasium, therapy suites, flexible learning spaces, and administration offices with strong visual connections to nature. In addition, on-site Specialist Disability Accommodation offers NDIS-compliant apartments for those travelling long distances to access care.

This project exemplifies how integrated design, and engineering can create inclusive environments that foster dignity, empowerment, and comfort for all.
