Developed by Scape Australia and delivered by Infinity Constructions, the project redefines sustainable student living in Sydney. Located at the intersection of Anzac Parade and Todman Avenue in Kensington, the 19-storey mixed-use development provides 308 student rooms, communal facilities, office & retail spaces, and public amenities within a vibrant university precinct.
LCI Consultants provided a full suite of Environmentally Sustainable Design services for the project, including:
- BASIX Energy and Water Assessments
- JV3 Energy Modelling for building fabric and energy performance compliance
- 6 Star Green Star Design & As Built v1.3 Certification
These services enabled the project team to achieve and verify measurable sustainability outcomes across energy efficiency, water conservation, indoor environmental quality, and materials performance.
The Scape Kensington development integrates a range of environmental initiatives designed to reduce carbon impact and enhance occupant comfort, including:
- Use of low-carbon concrete and steel
- Solar renewable energy integration
- EPD-certified & eco-friendly materials
- Enhanced indoor environmental quality through low-VOC finishes, improved thermal comfort & access to good levels of natural daylight
