New Schools 2021 Program

The VIC New Schools 2021 Program included the design, construction, commissioning, and completion/handover of five primary (P-6) schools and two secondary schools (7-12) located in the southeastern and northern/western regions of Victoria.

A key challenge of this project was developing engineering services designs that responded to the requirements of the BQSH to deliver an appropriate teaching and learning environment whilst managing project costs within the allocated budget. The sites also had minimum or nil existing utility infrastructure services and major extension augmentation works were required.

LCI was the Engineering Services Consultant responsible for the electrical, security, communications, hydraulic, fire protection, mechanical, and fire engineering services design of the schools.
