Challenge:
The existing air conditioning system at the ABC Studios in Canberra was under capacity and near the end of its economic life.
Solution:
LCI Consultants provided mechanical services replacing the existing system with duty/standby air condition units equipped with a full fresh air economy cycle cooling system and the central equipment room ceiling was used as a return air plenum to draw air from the hot aisle.
Outcome:
The project involved site reviews, options assessments, detail design and construction assistance.
