Prince of Wales Hospital Acute Services Building

The new Acute Services Building for Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick will be built to the west of the existing Randwick Hospital’s Campus and will include:

  • A new emergency department;
  • Five levels of ward / beds;
  • Expanded rehabilitation and ambulatory care facilities; and
  • New shared operating theatres for the Randwick Campus.

LCI Consultants provided Mechanical, Medical Gases, Vertical Transport and ESD Services for the design of the new facilities. A schematic design for the building has been recently completed.


Health Infrastructure NSW see this as an opportunity to define the long-term direction for the new Precinct so that it can lead and shape the future of health for the Randwick region, address demand and ensure greater Sydney will have access to world-leading, innovative healthcare.
