Challenge: 

The University of Notre Dame required new facilities for medical students in their final two years of study which included research and teaching space comprising office areas, tutorial rooms, lecture theatre, laboratories, library and consultation rooms.

Solution: 

Key project issues included: Client expectation with budget constraints, multiple stakeholders, site infrastructure  limitation, energy performance, space design, ITC infrastructure, future ready, relocation of staff and existing equipment from other buildings, co-ordination of design documents. 

Outcome: 

After completed, the University of Notre Dame were very pleased with the outcome as LCI had successfully provided a site infrastructure redevelopment and kept within the budget that they had set. The new building now includes an upgraded library as well as consultation rooms.
