Chris Kornek

Chris is an Associate and Chartered Engineer at LCI with over 15 years’ experience in Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand. He has particular experience in sustainable design and building services optimisation. These interests have matured through the design of mechanical services infrastructure, during his involvement on numerous industry sector projects.

His expertise comprises both consulting and contracting, providing him with a thorough understanding of the construction process. He has developed special interests on heating, cooling and ventilation, thermal modelling and renewable energy, and sustainable design.

Chris has extensive experience in project and design management fronting multi-disciplinary services on a range of projects delivering high quality outcomes accompanied by strong client focus.

He has been involved in numerous sustainable design and construction projects. These have varied from green field developments through to existing building / infrastructure upgrades and energy renovations. He has been instrumental in the planning, energy modelling, detailed design, construction, commissioning and occupancy phases of multiple projects understanding the unique requirements in each phase.
