Building Information Management (BIM)
BIM creates a virtual model of a proposed facility. It captures design, construction, operation and cost necessary to forecast the construction and whole of life parameters of that facility.
Collaboration is key to producing a reliable and adaptable BIM model. Such a model requires input from the entire design and construction team; an investment in time, management and talent. A seamless partnership between the designers, builders, services contractors, suppliers and facility management providers is paramount to a successful outcome.
LCI delivers multiple projects in REVIT that form part of larger BIM models. We are working in partnership with other design consultants, architects and contractors to deliver advanced models from concept phase through to ‘As Built’.
We view the REVIT model as much more than a mere 3D drawing. Instead, it forms a fundamental part of our design process from the earliest design stages of every project.
As visual thinkers, we find 3D rendered models are an effective way to communicate ideas. The LCI team uses a range of rendering tools to explore creative Engineering Services design solutions. This enables us to create a complete visual experience for our Clients, demonstrating design efficacy with a ‘realistic look and feel’.
