Department of Agriculture Canberra Fitout

LCI has successfully completed the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) new 30,266m² commercial space in Civic Quarter Two (CQ2), a recently constructed and modern commercial building situated on the corner of the bustling Civic Quarter Precinct. Spanning across 12 floors, the new A-Grade fitout has been designed as an Activity Based Work (ABW) environment with an occupancy density goal of 12m² per work point.

Following a thorough site review, we identified that the central atrium required a fire engineered solution and dedicated smoke exhaust system to prevent smoke and heat from spreading in the event of a fire. Our team collaborated with other key disciplines to integrate fire engineered solutions seamlessly into the designs.
